R. Xiráldez is a Galician artist brought up between petroglyphs and cathedrals, who dares give that new air to granite from a sculpture design by the author. They are unique pieces in which design is his strong point but in which “the shape follows the function” as in architecture by Louis Sullivan.

Autodidactic maker fascinated by the magic of colour and volumes he creates his work letting himself go by curiosity and experimentation with materials and techniques. In sculpture and painting he plays with recycling and simplification of shapes looking for harmony between the work and the materials used.

His creations give shape to a story and become heritage for the next generation. Each project designed by R. Xiráldez makes balance between technology and the best craft skills. The author bets for the unique, for the durable in a balanced combination of design and art in a limited edition which increases its value as years pass by.
